Iowa City Police Searching for Vegetation Vandal

One might think that Iowa City has its hands full chasing down K2 abusers and Catholic school bomb threat hoaxers, but apparently crime never sleeps in this city. The Iowa City Police released information yesterday about their search for an alleged criminal whose sense of anarchy knows no bounds.

The crime that she's accused of? She allegedly pulled plants out of their pots outside downtown Iowa City's Hotel Vetro:
According to a police press release, on Sept. 7, at 9:20 p.m., surveillance cameras at hotel Vetro captured a woman pulling plants out of the planters located in front of the hotel, destroying the plants in the process. Police say they are pursuing the woman who committed the criminal mischief as part of an overall effort to cut down on nuisance behaviors in downtown Iowa City.
Iowa City Area Crimestoppers is offering $1,000 to anyone whose tips lead to the arrest of this accused plant vandal. You just need to give them a call at 356-8477.

One thousand dollars?

Hmmm...

They got bin Laden, and yet there are so many other sickos still on the prowl out there.

She hates our plants for their freedoms.
